Selling With Xome: How to Complete Seller Account Verification and Disclosures

Before you can sell a property, there are a few steps you must complete on the Seller Portal. When you first log in or create your account, you will see the Let’s Begin page — even if you have been previously registered on Xome as a buyer.

You will see a series of tasks with a completion status next to them. Anything that you have not already done will be marked as Incomplete.

Please note: Before you begin completing tasks on the Let’s Begin page, please click the download link to download a copy of the auction marketing agreement contract to review. You will sign this document in your last task.

To complete the Provide Seller Information section:

  1. Select Yes or No to identify if this seller profile is a legal entity that is selling the property.
    • If you select Yes, you will be required to fill out the organization’s information. All fields are required unless indicated as optional.
You will need to upload documents proving that the organization qualifies, such as articles of incorporation, LLC documentation, and more. You can drag and drop them into the area under Legal Entity Documents or click the Browse button to select the files on your computer.
    • If you select No, you will be required to input your contact information. All fields are required unless indicated as optional.
  2. Select Yes or No to indicate if you are a real estate agent.
    • If you select Yes, please enter your agent information, including company name, brokerage license number, broker name, managing broker license number, agent name, and agent license number.
  3. Select Yes or No to indicate if you are affiliated with any real estate organization(s).
    • If you select Yes, please select the organizations from the drop-down menu. If you select Other in the drop-down menu, please specify the organizations in the provided field, separating the values with a semicolon.
  4. Select Yes or No to indicate if you are selling your personal primary residence.
Please note that you cannot directly sell your personal primary residence through an auction at this time. If you would like to sell your primary residence through Xome, you may currently do so through a real estate agent.
  5. Click the Next button to move to the next Seller Information section.

To complete the Verify Your Identity section (this will already be complete if you are a registered buyer with Xome):

  1. Legal First Name and Legal Last Name will already be filled in based on what you entered during registration. If your legal names are different than what you entered, please enter the correct names here.
  2. Fill in the rest of the information, including your legal residence address, driver’s license state and number, and date of birth.
Please note that your license number and birthday will be used for identity verification only and will not be saved in our database.
  3. Click the Next button to move to the next Seller Information section.
  4. If there are any errors with the information given for identity verification, you will be given three opportunities to correct any errors and resubmit. Verification must be completed before you can sell any properties with Xome.

To complete the Sign Legal Disclosures section:

To complete the Execute Marketing Agreement section:

  1. You will be required to sign the Auction Marketing Agreement using eSign. Click the Begin button and eSign will open a signing session in a new browser tab.
  2. eSign will first ask you to review your name and initials. Make any necessary connections and then click the Next button.
  3. Then, please choose a style for your electronic signature and initials. You can also write or draw your own by clicking the Draw Signature & Initials button. Then click the Next button.
  4. Click the checkbox next to the I agree to the Consumer Disclosure statement, then click Begin. (Tip: to view the disclosure in its entirety, click the Consumer Disclosure link!)
  5. Click Begin to view the Auction Marketing Agreement.
  6. Read through the agreement and follow eSign’s prompts for where you need to initial, sign, and date the document. Once you have completed the agreement, click the Done button.
  7. Click on Yes to complete your signing session and submit the agreement.
  8. The screen will refresh and allow you to download the completed agreement. Click the Download button in the lower right-hand corner to save the document to your computer.

Once you have completed all the information on the Let’s Begin page, you will see a Verification in Progress message on the Seller Portal. Please allow up to three (3) business days for your verification and keep an eye on your email for any updates to your status.
